500 t Closed-Circuit Cooling Tower

The 500 t closed-circuit cooling tower is a medium-to-large industrial indirect heat exchange unit with a rated flow of 500 m3/h per unit., cooling the circulating water through indirect heat exchange in a sealed coil. It is the core cooling equipment for continuous production where water quality stability is critical, such as metallurgy, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.

Core Working Principle

It adopts two independent circulation loops for heat exchange, keeping the cooling medium away from any direct contact with outside air throughout the process:

• Internal circuit: the hot process water flows entirely inside sealed 304 stainless steel coils with no contact with spray water or air, keeping the water clean at source and eliminating contamination and scaling risks.
• External circuit: the spray system spreads water evenly over the coil surface to form a water film, while the top axial fan drives cool air through the film. Evaporation of the film rapidly removes heat from the medium inside the coil, humid air is discharged from the tower, and unevaporated spray water falls into the basin for reuse.
