Our counter-flow square cooling tower is a square-structured industrial circulating water cooling unit that realizes heat exchange through counter-current contact between water and air. With outstanding heat transfer efficiency and highly flexible layout, it has become the preferred mainstream solution for cooling systems across industrial production and commercial building sectors.

Core Working Principle

Hot water is uniformly distributed and sprayed downwards from the tower top, while ambient air is forced upwards through the bottom air intake louvers. The two media achieve full ‌180° counter-flow contact‌, efficiently extracting heat from the circulating water via dominant evaporative cooling supplemented by direct contact heat transfer, to deliver rapid water temperature reduction. Compared to cross-flow configurations, this design maintains a consistently larger temperature difference between water and air throughout the process, enabling far more thorough heat exchange.
